\t\t\t\tI can breathe again. It’s been strange but since last Saturday’s air-vomit spectacular I was sore from the upheaving then railed to my deepest innards by hundreds of deep deep breaths each day, breaths (no, gasps) drawn in a mostly futile effort to placate the confused and needy numbness that quixotically danced in my lowness.<\/p>\n
In other words, I had trouble catching my breath for about 10 days, but that strangely open-to-interpretation condition has passed for now.<\/p>\n

I told D. a story yesterday, a story that none have appreciated before her. I have told this harmless little account several times but when I got no reaction those times I quit telling.<\/p>\n
Story is that I was at a bar talking to a projects kid. He looked very young (too young to be in a bar) and said he was from the Ravenswood Houses. We were talking, he was a nice enough guy, and every once in a while he would respond to something I said with “I just saw you!” He would clasp his hands and say “I just saw you” in response to something I had just said, in particular when I said something revealing about myself or something which he thought exposed me. “Man I just saw you!” he smiled and laughed and pointed at me as he used that phrase 3 or 4 times during the conversation.<\/p>\n
I have never used that expression myself but I am glad to have found someone who thinks that ” I just saw you!” is as interesting and expressive a phrase as do I. It was as if he was saying he saw right through me or saw my bullshit for what it was (and still is) and I liked that line. I never saw that kid again.<\/p>\n
