\t\t\t\ttoday\u2018s directionless ramble turned into something of an adventure. i was out and in the world well before noontime, which has not happened in a long time. i walked over to new calvary and spent more time there than i might have expcected or intended, not being in much of a mood for those places these days but nevertheless finding myself at one or another.<\/p>\n
i forgot to eat, which may contribute to the dazed feeling i\u2018ve had all the day. i am now geotagging the 850+ pictures i got today, which should take hours.<\/p>\n
i met up with an old friend yesterday, crossing paths for the first time in about a year, and spontaneously deciding to go get blotto at a new pub nearby. his wife joined us a little later and much fun was had by all concerned.<\/p>\n
i thought i would have bolder comments to make upon returning from today\u2018s adventures… i spotted an interesting composition: sitting curbside was a pair of sunglasses next to a condom. i was at queens plaza, thinking of how vastly different that space will look in a few years, if not sooner. looking around at the emptied spaces, voided of their buildings, i imagined that all this is going to be gone soon, stomped out by glass towers of arguable aesthetic merits, though little of the transience of that area will be missed.<\/p>\n
