Payphone Call."},"content":{"rendered":"<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-17144-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/wsbj.com\/sorabji\/mobi\/37\/2018\/05\/5162461059-msg0009-4.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/wsbj.com\/sorabji\/mobi\/37\/2018\/05\/5162461059-msg0009-4.mp3\">https:\/\/wsbj.com\/sorabji\/mobi\/37\/2018\/05\/5162461059-msg0009-4.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>Now I&#8217;m at Manhattan Avenue and India Street.<br \/>\nI just wanted to continue with other things I meant to say about that CD.<br \/>\nThere&#8217;s nothing in there to get excited about.<br \/>\nOr as my dad once said it&#8217;s nothing to shout about.<br \/>\nThere was this strange site that I did, or a subsite I guess, for a website in Australia, a long time ago.<br \/>\nIt must have been &#8217;96 or &#8217;97.<br \/>\nIt was like a guest spot that I did.<br \/>\nI have no idea what it was called or what the URL was but I found all the content for it.<br \/>\nMildly interesting to find so much stuff I&#8217;ve created that I have no memory of.<br \/>\n(My) poetry is kind of gnashing and &#8230; quiet.<br \/>\nI mean it&#8217;s talking to itself.<br \/>\nThe woman in France said that my poetry reads like somebody that is struggling to stay alive.<br \/>\nOr, writing to save my life.<br \/>\nBut she&#8217;s only read the good stuff.<br \/>\nI told her most of my stuff sucks.<br \/>\nBut that&#8217;s as it should be, I guess.<\/p>\n<p>But looking at all those pictures of me in silence only further deafens the silence.\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Now I&#8217;m at Manhattan Avenue and India Street.
