The journalist posting the phone number I use was not as boss a thing as I thought. My hope was that people would call the number from the machines, and a couple of people did, but mostly the calls came from peoples&#8217; home and office phones. The soundscape of the productions don&#8217;t quite work over the phone the way they are intended to work over the machines&#8217; curbside loudspeakers. I&#8217;ve looked into ways that would whitelist calls to my broadcasts, so they could only come from the machines, but there appears to be no commercial provider that does this.
