It is Chopin&#8217;s Opus 45 Prelude in C-Sharp Minor. This was one of my mother&#8217;s favorite pieces. I wouldn&#8217;t know if there has been a discovery of this piece but in my days of playing and attending concerts this piece seldom appeared on programs.
