This is my mail-in ballot. I was so hoping this Working Families candidate for New York’s Supreme Court was Kenny Schaffer, a former friend of mine known for the “What’s the frequency, Kenneth?” incident involving Dan Rather. The CBS newsman was attacked by a mentally disturbed individual repeatedly asking that question. For years the incident was believed to have been a case of mistaken identity in which the assailant thought Dan Rather was Kenny Schaffer, who at the time was a well-known radio guy who knew a lot about wireless frequencies and other such things.<\/p>\n
Considering Kenny’s vast range of interests and livelihoods it honestly would not have surprised me if this really was that<\/em> Kenneth Schaffer on the ballot. But no.
