Based on my evolving journey through Soler&#8217;s music I find the comparison apt enough, though for my money Scarlatti is far more inventive and versatile. But I say that after only getting through 5 or 6 of Soler&#8217;s sonatas. Here&#8217;s my first attempt at Sonata #25 in D Minor.
