After recently posting that I had virtually no memory of a house I lived in for one year of college I found these scans of photos from that very house. I remember now, the grand piano and the grandfather clock among other pieces that made this feel like a swank, fancy residence. Swank and fancy, for the most part, make me ill at ease. I can’t breathe the same air as the swank and fancy inhale.<\/p>\n

Also interesting that the music on the piano is that of Robert Helps, just as I happened to be posting a video of me playing<\/a> his\u00a0Valse Mirage<\/em> in 1989. I believe the other score on the music stand is Alkan’s\u00a0Concerto for Solo Piano<\/em> but it’s too grainy to tell. I have no idea what I did with the physical copies of these photos, which I appear to have scanned in 2009.<\/p>\n
