It has haunted me since. I think this is because of the staid, frozen look in the animal&#8217;s eyes. It was a look of having been\u00a0intruded upon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/500px.com\/photo\/73299025\/cemetery-cat-by-mark-thomas?from=sorabji.com\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2846 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wsbj.com\/sorabji\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/DSC01965_0021.jpg?resize=670%2C375&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"670\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The stareoff didn&#8217;t last long. Within a minute the cat began sauntering away.
