Adding to my glacially-expanding collection of Detex Stations spotted in the wild, I found this one yesterday, Upper West Side. The number 7 printed on it suggests there are, perhaps, at least 6 others in this area. I’d never encountered one labeled “Watchman’s Station”, only “Watchclock Station”. The likeness of the Queen’s Guard is a classy touch (I guess). I could not get this one to open and did not want to try too hard, seeing as it is private property and all.<\/p>\n
