I see phone numbers that look like 212-800-####. If all the last digits are zeroes that makes it &#8220;212 eight million&#8221;, a modern version of the earliest days when having the phone number of &#8220;1&#8221; was a badge of honor.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a good thing those old numbers didn&#8217;t get grandfathered in somehow. Imagine how many wrong numbers the poor owner of &#8220;1&#8221; would get.<\/p>\n<p>Not sure I&#8217;d be on board with a millioned-up phone number, meaning one with all zeroes after the first digit. It would take too long to dial on a rotary dialer. Not sure what, if anything, I&#8217;d go after in the #00 exchange game. when area codes go #00 i could go for a phone number of one billion: 100-000-000-0000.
