Sometimes the sound of my own voice scares me.
\nIs that really me?
\nI just asked for fries well done and looked around for an instant, looking for whoever just said that. “I was just thinking that!”
\nFor as good a day as I had yesterday, today was an utter waste. I slept a little late but that’s no news.
\nI found the oddest review of my receipts site. Genuinely baffling. I gaped at the screen reading it, trying to navigate the depths of convolution the author’s mind traveled through to reach these conclusions.
\nAltered realities clash, I guess. But hey, it’s receipts. Lacking explanation I guess they can be a blankness onto which one’s own purposes can be projected. Like 4’33”, perhaps.
\nAnd while it may not be as challenging a review as my vagueness might imply (it seems to be a matter of cross purposes versus legitimate comprehension) I do at least find that these public challenges force me to analyze and explain it all myself.
