Is that even possible?

Yesterday I walked, but I don’t see how 27k+ steps is even possible.

More importantly, I nearly choked yesterday on a sandwich. It was at the Myrtle/Willoughby G train station in Brooklyn. Nobody around, really, and I had no liquid in my bag, for some reason. I always have some kind of liquid for just such an occasion as this, but this time, I forgot to pack it. I hocked up enough of whatever I was choking on into a garbage can and spent the balance of the day feeling like I had a bowling ball in my gut.

I wandered around that area around Myrtle/Willoughby, where I exited the subway for no reason other than the street names sounded friendly to me. Myrtle sounds like a name for an eccentric, loving aunt or grandmother. Willoughby evokes memories of the old camera and electronics store by that name, which is not a friendly or positive memory. Price gouging and lying sales reps made my last visit emphatically my last. Are they even still in business?

I don’t have much time to write today. Yesterday was strange. I ate very little and feel light headed. I am going to ask for a few days off next week. I’ve taken time off from this job, but it never quite feels like I got time off.

As for the Myrtle/Willoughby area I did discover the Kosciuszko Pool, which I had never seen before. It is closed for the season. Earlier I had entered Mug’s Saloon on Bedford to check on a reported working payphone at that bar. There was a payphone device but it is wired not to require coins for local calls. Thus it is not a payphone in the way most people define it. All phones are payphones, of course. But the coin- or card-fed device has a particularly inalienable association with the term.

I don’t think the bartender liked me. I wanted a salad but it was 11:0am and the kitchen did not open until noon. Information online about the bar’s hours was inaccurate. I had a seltzer and lime. She charegd $3. That’s how you know a bartender doesn’t like you. When they charge you anything for a seltzer and lime. She also seemed to think I was annoying for asking questions about the payphone. I tipped $2 on the $3 seltzer.

YESTERDAY WAS WEIRD AND TODAY WILL BE, AS WELL, i THINK. BAH, DON’T KNOW HOW THIS GOT INTO ALL CAPS BUT I COULD USE AN EPISODE OF SCREAMING WHEN I HAD NO INTENTION OF SCREAMING OR HAVING ANYTHING WORTH SCREAMING.

Yesterday I walked, but I don’t see how 27k+ steps is even possible.
