I just picked up the last of its kind. A payphone that accept sincoming calls. Last of its kind in NYC, possiblly, except forbusinesses that might sitll use payphones as the house phone. The payphone at Mcloughlin’s in Astoria takes incoming calls, but it is not really a payphone, since it does not allow outgoing coin-paid calls.<\/p>\n
I picked up this number for a specific reason, as yet untold, but the plan will be implemented this weekend, I think. I will have no realistic way to know if the plan works but I am happy knowing I did as much as this to make it work.<\/p>\n
