Felt I might tip over. Took some shaded shelter on Thames Street, where I solemnly watched an elderly couple enter the Cloud One Hotel,\u00a0 but don&#8217;t remember much else except thinking I needed to get back to the kinda-air-conditioned office. The other side of this building is abundantly air-conditioned but not this side, and no one knows why.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don&#8217;t know why I chose the word &#8220;solemn&#8221; just above. The women seemed serious, and perhaps unhappy to be re-entering this hotel at that moment. I wanted to know their story, until a moment&#8217;s reflection convinced me there was little to be told.
