A couple of mysterious emails arrived at my personal email account. They were from my employer who should, as far as I would know, not have knowledge of that particular address. The content of the email read:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is an email to notify you that Complaint #00006101 has been registered with our system.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n This is an automated email. Please do not reply to this message.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I have no idea what this is in reference to. There was a second message, nearly identical, but the complaint number was incrementally raised. So two complaints about which I know nothing. It’s possibly related to a tech support ticket I put in but I think that was almost 2 weeks ago now, only involved one issue, and again, nobody here is supposed have this particular email address anywhere in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is enough to make me think there have complaints filed about<\/em> me, though it’s hard to imagine what anyone here has to complain about with me. I’m not the friendliest person most days but I’m not making this an unpleasant environment or causing distress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I am wearing a new white shirt. Aside from socks and underwear this is the first new article of clothing I have purchased in probably 2 years. It is a fine garment purchased at a good price from a local palette shop. It is made in Bangladesh, and is solid white. It has a pocket in which I store my company ID and a pear stem. I will find a place to stash the pear stem sometime today. Throughout this office space I have stashed pear stems in random spots, discrete but plainly visible for those with eyes to see. Some seem so obvious to me I cannot believe maintenance has not removed them. Many of them had littered the windows on the north side of the building, but all those windows were replaced and the pear stems went away. They are still found in the spaces between the tile-like design of the building walls.\u00a0 Pear stems will be my legacy here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I called out sick yesterday after a steroid injection left me feeling very odd, very uneasy. I don’t even know what the steroid was named but seems to have been effective, at least by early indications. I’ll spare the details of what this is about, it’s not totally gross but it’s kinda ick. I’ve been having bad reactions to meds, unlike any I can remember. I’ve read about drugs that can cause “confusion” and I always wondered what that meant. Now I know. For about half a day I could not tell you which side of my phone was the front or back, and anything I said sounded borderline gibberishesque. For all that there was something inside my head that knew this was happening, knew this was a side effect and all I had to do is wait tfor this extended release tablet to get through my system. It was not fun. I was also dxizzy, shaky, nearly falling down, and all this while here at the job. I usually take new drugs on days off so I can assess the side effects but this time I got it wrong. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Yesterday I chose a subway station and an area I don’t know well, and wandered that area, finding that I did, in fact know the area pretty well from some years ago.
