…but why? Why let this place consume\/occupy any more of my time than it already does. Why ask a question like that and deliberately leave off the question mark, as if the question answers itself. It’s logistics. I had thought, and even been told, that going to work in the dark of night, and returning home from work in the dark of night, would have a negative impact on my serenity, my equilibrium, neither of which I possess. In person I seem like a calm, stoner-type of placid but I know the truth. Savage dreams last night kept me wide awake for too long. I was travelling around the country on my desk, which had some sporty wheels and an engine installed. I parked the desk in my father’s old house, which had been occupied by miscreants and vague contractors. I parked the desk very snug against a p ickup truck, barely squeezed out of the vehicle. How did the desk become a full-bore vehicle? I found a place to masturbate then returned to the desk to find it gone. I’ve had dreams like this, where something is lost or stolen and I wake feeling like some internal organs had been wrested from my innards, like my sould was hijacked. From this dream I woke with nothing more than a hardon, but also no path back to unconsciousness. It was !:14AM. I typically wake at 4AM. Yesterday I felt relatively serene but today not so much. I’ll need an extra dose, but I’ll see how far into the day I can get without it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday I spotted a very large dead seagull on the sidewalk, on the NW corner of Fulton and Gold. I reported it to 311 but status on the requesst indicates the big dead bird is still out there, probably frozen by now.It was an impressive bird to behold. I grew up with seagulls and they can be scary, gnarly beasts. This one looked like a vicitim. It’s beaks were stained red, and its hulking body seemed to be the centerpiece of this intersection. I know, better than describing it, here’s a photo or 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
