My Corporate Youth."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\tI have been clearing out my moldering collection of photo dumps from the soon-to-be-retired sorabji.com\/pictures site, and moving the keepers over to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/px.sorabji.com\" target=\"_blank\">px.sorabji.com<\/a><\/strong>. I found this set of three photos of me outside 9 West 57th Street in 1995. These pictures are from soon before I left my job at that building to throw caution to the wind and go build these things called &#8220;web sites&#8221; for Time-Warner, a company which had begrudgingly acknowledged that then-crazy fad called the &#8220;World Wide Web&#8221;. The mouthful &#8220;WWW&#8221; is better known now simply as &#8220;The Internet&#8221; or &#8220;Da Web&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>These are damn good pictures, even with me in them. I know I posted them here already but for good measure, and to be sure they sear themselves into your brain, I post them again. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/VisibleRepublic.com\" target=\"_blank\">Photographer Joe Gioia<\/a><\/strong> is to blame for these.
