Bah. At the ghetto coffee shop. Feeling ignored today. So it goes. Walked to Socrates and Rainey Parks. The hard drives I threw into the river are long gone, or else I just cannot see them anymore. Did not realize until I was out and about just how fucking shitty I feel today. Overslept, overdrank, but feel a different kind of blah than is usual for that. Tried to write a fugue. Going to keep trying. It is harsh on the ears but I want to prove to myself I can actually write counterpoint. It is not needed. No one needs to write fugues anymore. Thinking again about Trump as president. it’s less fearful to me than it was before. I don’t think he will be permitted to fuck up too badly. I don’t think he really wants the job. He will get bored with it. Legislative minutia is just not his style or discipline. Leave that to his formidable cast of underlings.
