How stupid is this? The scary part is that people actually fall for these pitiful robocalls and engage the scammers by calling them at the number mentioned in this message. The IRS would never make a call like this, nor would anyone from that agency identify themselves as coming from the “Internal Revenue Services” (plural).
This is Officer Steve Parker from the Internal Revenue Services (sic). This call is officially a final notice from the IRS. The nature and the purpose of this call is to inform you that we have received legal petition notice concerning tax fraud against you. So before this matter goes to the Federal Claims Courthouse or before you get arrested please call immediately on our department number: (914) 940-1601. Make sure you call us as soon as possible.
UPDATE, October 6 2017: It’s been over 2 years since I originally posted this and this robocall scam is still active. As mentioned in the comments, calls from “Officer Steve Parker” are now coming from 747-234-2033.

I just received this call today from a different number 747-234-2033 but the return number didn’t have all the digits listed. I was very leery so I looked it up and I’m glad I found this! Thank you for getting the word out!
I received this call also, from the 747 number. I’m so thankful I was smart enough to Google Steve Parker IRS.
