Still thinking about this. Seems like the initial reportage was all wrong, and that the infant might have been in the trash can for days. So disgusting, not just the humanity of it but the fact that any sentient human could do something like this. Of course that is easy to say from a distance. Circumstances can make what seems obvious to many of us look impossible to others. Assumptions all seem to be that the mother did this. That is far more likely than other scenarios involving kidnapping or a disgruntled father, but it is not necessarily the only possibility. And to think the boy was born healthy.
