was awake stupid early for some reason, went out walking thinking it would be much colder tomorrow, turns out it will actually be warmer… want to get as much outdoor time while the sun is hot.
funny thing, i mean not hilarious but curious. the other night i went to my so-called regular bar for the first time in months. it was nice. comfortable. $20 for 2 beers when $20 could buy me beer for a week at the rate i’ve been going lately.
Anyway the only blemish on the evening there was the presence of this super annoying woman who lives nearby. I managed to get away with simply responding to her greeting, then hiding behind the beer taps. I left and she was still there but engaged in vacuous conversation with a couple of other people, so I could escape with no more interaction.
Well, now I am at a Starbucks on the same avenue as aforementioned bar, and so is she! So is annoying barfly babe.
To ease the awkwardness of that I was just tapped on the shoulder. I feared it was her but no, it was Don. We talked for several minutes. He never has much time. It’s 4:30 and he is just heading to work, having stayed at home all day with a thrown out back.
I am getting through this sammich asap and getting the hell out of here.

ok, then, at ghetto coffee shop, where price of large coffee went up from $1.50 to $1.75. Criminal.
Was nice seeing Don again, even for just a little bit.
I was having trouble with the glare from the sunlight in there. Sun was hitting me in such a way that any person who walked toward me appeared to be that super annoying twat. It would have surprised me not in the slightest if she came over and started talking, and in fact I am surprised she did not.
Just played pool with someone named BOY. Was actually fun. Playing apps I downloaded for free from Amazon but never played. Oh and I won, against a player who seemed to be pretty good.
Feeling bleary eyed for waking up so early. Need more hydration. Going home to write about “The Walk”.
