Sunday closet cleaning today turned up some fun stuff. Computer keyboard from my first-ever Windows PC (Gateway 2000). The original Connectix webcam. A Time-Warner Cable Road Runner mousepad. Tie Fighter on a bunch of floppies. Sony Discman (c. 1988, I think). Bunch of long-expired rolls of film. A 5-something coin from Poland (never been there). My dad’s hats. The Rolodex I used across 4 different jobs. Panasonic answering machines. And so much more. Satisfied to have thrown out the earth’s circumference worth of coaxial cables, telephone extension cords, USB power cords, and a bunch of shit I had not used or even thought about in at least 6 years.
