As part of my daily cremation I tear into little bits and pieces my name and address as it appears on junk mail envelopes. I discard those little bits and pieces around as I make my daily Flâneur rounds. A few weeks ago I left this one scrap of paper at the base of a tree near my apartment. I do not think it would still be there. Last week there were two inches of snow on top of this little piece of detritus. I guess that would not necessarily cause the paper to shuffle away. I will check in on it frequently.
