I am going to go ahead and keep this weighty tome. That’s only because I wrote a couple of chapters for it. Not very good chapters, mind you, but I am not feeling the need to go back and review any of it to see if my contributions were as lame as I remember. This book was rendered moot almost immediately after publication, seeing as it hit the shelves of bookstores almost to the day that Netscape 3 was released. Underneath this book is a copy of Designing Web Graphics, authored by my brief acquaintance Lynda Weinman. I was ready to toss that book until I noticed it was autographed, and therefore certainly worth thousands! Her note is prescient: “Should be fun to watch this book go out of date!”
