Nothing like this ever before in the annals of my dreamescapes. It has bothered me for days. I had to go to Walgreen’s to get a bottle of vitamins. The vitamins were unusally large capsules mostly comprising exquisite hair samples from South American animals and plants. The capsules contained about 80% hair. When ingested the hair, released into the bloodstream,  performed great healing on my inextinguishable spirit and my disposable physical innards. This Walgreen’s was a mess. Clothing articles cluttered every aisle. Single-piece baby jumpsuits, $2.99 pairs of cheap sweatpants, enormous bags of no-name socks stood between me and the back of the store where the vitamins stood growthlessly on shelves. I complained openly to the store clerks about the clutter in the aisles but I made it through the thicket of “who-would-wear-this-shit” clothing. I had a feeling I should not have complained about the aisles, and as I reached the back of the store my instincts were confirmed. I faced myself in a wall-length mirror, looking at my face and into my eyes. Large splotches of blood-red planets filled the temple-sides of my eyeballs. Those monsters of red grew and grew, larger and larger, until my blue eyes were completely enveloped in blood. I tried to the death to keep my eyes open but they forced themselves shut and I fell backwards into the aisles of cheap clothing, dead. I bolted awake in bed certain that I was gone. That was Thursday.
