an hour or so spent playing video games on my tablet with friend’s son had me feeling like The Hero. Calmed that kid down, had him asking me questions instead of announcing “I don’t want to do that!” and dad’s threat to send him to “the room” ceased. plus, i gave that kid his first piano lesson. that was an interesting, beer-buzzed day, filled with the bitterness of intelligentsia among corporata.
