I don’t remember taking this picture, nor do I recall the uneven reflective surface that squished my face a little. It might have been the side of a truck but I don’t remember now. This was at New Calvary Cemetery on a day when I walked around the perimeter of the place looking for DETEX watchclock stations. Cemeteries seemed like as good a place as any to find those interesting security apparati of yore, but no new ones revealed themselves to me on this day. To date that above-linked DETEX is the only one I can be certain of seeing, but memory wants me to believe I saw one at the storage facility where I used to rent a locker. But that would have been years ago, when the place was independently owned and had not been renovated for ages. By the time I thought to look for it again it would have been long gone, if it was ever there to begin with.
