These new Covid-19 variants are not playing games. 1500 deaths per day nationwide, more than 9/11, but few seem to care that anyone can get it, however retentive and vigilant they might be. Not enough spectacle, I guess. Not enough jets flying into buildings, not enough bodies hurtling from 100+ floors up. Just a lot of people dying alone.
