That big plan failed through. I had the old batch of pear steams ready to go. I can still see them sitting atop the microwave. They had been scattered on my bedroom floor, having fallen from this shirt pocket whilst in the throes of nudifying myself. There they sat for some months, o r maybe just weeks, an occasional nuisance as I now again stepped upon them. But today would be the day I stuffed said pocket with the pear stemsand sought out fresh country in which to place them. New locations, new nooks, new crannies, setting up fresh discoveries for this workplace’s crooks and nannies.
I have comt to question who it was that initially made it their cross to bear that they sought out and removed the pear stems that they discovered. They have ceased this project, while I have persisted. Most of my recent placements are very obscure to a point of assuming that no discovery will ever be explicitly made and removal will be a result of general maintenance or entropical float. THey are on dusty, mucky window sills and spaces aloof to them. One of these seems to be a location where a pear stem was removed but I can’t be certain. In my secrecy I leave no documentation of the exact locations. I keep this documentation only for posterity. None involved should ever have reason to discover this, and there is no risk if they do. I am bravely honorable in this pursuit, lawlessly lawful. No handbook would dictate my game is illegal or forbade.

There was a scary nutjob on the subway this AM. This morning commute is going to be a window into an alternate reality. THis dude was clearly stoned or fucked up on something, screaming gibberish and occasional coherent verbiage, scaring off a group of green tourists who I watched race away from that first car of the R train to the 2nd car. The lunatic barely moved from his stage, and the remaining occupants of the subway car remained, seemingly unfazed but probably, like me, feeling a little bit of concern for our mutual well-beings.

I will look for locations where new Link5G towers are expected to be placed today. Some are on an official map of such information, others appear not to be on said map. These towers, which do not provide 5G signal and likely never will, are ludicrou eyesores. I am yet to see one in person with an ad panel on it but some of the ones coming to FiDi are expected to have those garish, gnarly extremeties.
Or will they? Data from the City claims that many of the installed 5G towers have ads but a tour on Cyclomedia reveals otherwise. Perhaps these towers, as with their promise of 5G signal, will also fail to provide advertisements to New Yorkers. Or maybe they got approval for ads but have no advertisers who want to be associated with these noxious tubes.
But it’s interesting how lies like this travel. If a journalist were to write a perfunctory piece about the Link5G rollout they would neglect to mention that no 5G signal exists, and that a healthy quantity of the 5G towers have ad panels, because that is what the City’s spreadsheets say, even though it is not true.
The data around LinKNYC is padded with lies, just like the foundation of the franchise. Data claiming to show which LinkNYC kiosks are currently not working is a fiction, though I will admit that it seems to have some loose connection to reality. When the West Side blackout happened the data showed a spike in outages among kiosks in that area. But for day to day usage the data is a fiction.
I should do something useful.
