Woke up thinking “In the Weedy Willow” could be the dumbest song ever, to thinking I could stand to actually listen to it again, then segued into how similar the first notes of the melody are to Kabalevsky’s Prelude #1, then I dropped back to asking myself if any of these evidentiary somnambulant facts are even accurate? Do I know any of this? Do I know anything? What is there to know?
