I discovered this mysterious-seeming set of photos of people and places in Ord, Nebraska. Most if not all of these pictures appear to be of pages from an Ord High School Yearbook from the 1920s. I don’t know if the act of photographing the pages contributed to their inverted appearances, but I like the photos the way they are.
I was intrigued by this woman’s eyes, and her lanky physique. Is she pregnant?

I took some time to touch up the photo, revisiting the mild forms of OCD that surface from me whenever I engage in prestidigitational pursuits.
I am about three-quarters of the way through the job, leaving a lot of small dust worms and æsthetically acceptable white stains. I could clean up her white-stained sweater sleeve but I don’t think her hands are salvageable.
