Public Storage’s web site is continuously “temporarily unavailable.”
Trying to change my billing information at PublicStorage.com this year returned the same useless error message as 3 years ago.
In response to a post card from Public Storage I accessed the company’s web site and studiously entered my name, address, credit card #, expiration, super-secret 3-digit bullshit code.
Hitting the submit button I expected to enter the promised land of updating my information over the WWW, THE SECURE HTTPS INTERNET! THIS IS SO !1999!
As in years past, the PublicStorage.com web site is a piece of shit. It doesn’t fucking work.
Thus, 1980s style, I reported IN PERSON to the surly employees at the storage facility whence I store my Legos and receipts.
I would rather have performed this indignity online, without inconveniencing the irritated Real Life employees of this company.
I am sorry for intruding on the comfort of these luckily-employed individuals.
If their overlords can fix their web site then I hope we never have to see each other again.
