Just some random pictures from the Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto, Canada. Dating from the early to mid 1970s these images were among a couple of hundred slides I bought on eBay a few years ago. The slides appear to have been owned by someone involved in urban planning and/or architecture in and around Toronto. Stores seen in these images include Simpson’s, Morgan’s, Town and Country, Collyer, Jarman, Birks and a few others I can’t quite distinguish in the first slide. According to Yorkdale’s web site the only store seen in these photos that is still present is Birks.
