Wow, that was leg-pounding, foot-stomping frustrating. What was meant to be a quick little posting about the last payphone call I made was simply erased by a distressingly common “Network Connection Error” or something meaningless like that which comes with no explanation or diagnostic. This is why you can never rely on having an easy way to write content for a website, there is always the risk of some asshole error that cannot be analyzed or figured out.

I was just saying that, as described in the payphone call below, I got Joe Frank on the kiosks today. It’s not the first time. The first time was probably the day I heard he died. It was my (very) little tribute which was mostly inaudible. I didn’t know how to take voices with a timbre such as his and make it loud enough to reach anyone through the kiosk loudspeakers. I’m better at it now but I can always do better. Joe Frank not blasting at full tilt is well enough æsthetically, I think. If his voice only registers with that small cadre of New Yorkers who would recognize it to begin with then it is drawing in the right audience. Oh God I hope WordPress and/or Fios will permit me to post this.

FUCK, another inexplicable NETWORK ERROR
