It’s not something I would have paid attention to before, so maybe these have always been common street litter. But in the Corona Virus era where more and more people wear single-use vinyl or latex gloves, either because they have to or just because, it stands to reason that we would see more of them littering the streets and sidewalks. This just as the plastic bag ban kicked in, sparing our city streets of that bit of waste, only to be replaced by this. Whether or not there are more of these now than before these discarded single-use gloves make for an interesting subject for a photo essay. They start to look like condoms for the multiphallic and polyorchid. I have the damndest time getting these things onto my hands. Today I ripped 5 of them apart whilst trying to get them on.
