I originally posted this to YouTube but decided it was not appropriate for that platform. Nobody complained, exactly. I mean, no one reported it for being disgusting. But one comment was enough to make me decide it was better left here on my private server, where at least no one can censor it. It is a video of some rats I found in traps by a dumpster in Bellerose, Queens. It was outside a building called the Monte Excelsior on the Grand Central Parkway. I didn’t know until now but on both sides of the Grand Central Parkway there are parallel stretches of road called “Grand Central Parkway” on which houses and businesses have street addresses. Yet another vagary of the Queens street grid. As for the rats, well, they were there, and this was a window into their version of Hell on Earth. One of them looked like they thought they still had a chance.
