Whether to put dashes into Queens building addresses is an occasional subject of apathetic dispute. But I don’t think I’ve seen this before. A slash in the street address of 5-39 53rd Avenue in Long Island City. It’s an affront to the æsthetic of Queens’ sprawlingly inconsistent building-address-numbering conventions. I am deeply offended. Deeply.
