AN-GEVS ARE SCREAAMS ECHOSA NEW WORLDS
This billboard looks like it says “AN-GEVS ARE SCREAAMS ECHOSA NEW WORLDS”, whatever the hell that means. It reminds of when, in 2005, Sony hired graffiti artists to spray-paint images from an upcoming Playstation game on walls around cities like Philadelphia and New York. Backlash ensued but I think it’s reasonable to assume Sony got its money’s worth out of the deal. Maybe this is a similar example of what is called faux-rilla marketing for a corporate product yet to be released.
I was just wondering what this meant myself!!! Saw the sign and took a picture of it. It was “New Worlds” that really caught my attention. Googled “An-Gevs” and ended up here. Really wondering what this is.
This page actually gets a surprising number of page views. I guess a lot of people are wondering what it means.
I originally thought it read “Angels are scrams. Choose new worlds”
My search led me to this page and I wanted to share my knowledge! That billboard is by an artist that goes by “Rambo”, aka Lance De Los Reyes. He passed sometime in 2021.
