Not sure how this is going to look (the pictures are compressed in size) but here goes. Rain has already started and this piano is going to get soaked. Too bad.

I was just out in the rain for a bit. Very light for now. I have a path I can take that gets me from the office to the subway without having to be without a roof over my head. No such path exists when getting back to Astoria. It’s not a big deal, really, to get a bunch of rain. But it might mess up transit anyway.
Wow, this is the weakest strength coffee I can remember finding around here. I might have to go back out for backup from a legitimate coffee provider. This coffee is from the 123 Market, where they misspell “Market” hundreds of times daily. It’s spelled “MASKET” on all their sandwich and sushi containers.
I wonder if I am wasting my time here at this job as much as I fear. I wanted it to be a 6-month gig but I kinda fell in love with the work. Then came a pretty long period of burnout when every day felt like hot coals prodding my eyeballs. Now I’m somewhere between, recognizing the monotony of things while embracing the randomnesses.
It’s the finances that are troublesome. I’m losing money at this job. If I quit today I’d have less money than I started with. I guess I knew this going in, that you go broke working for The City.
