8am on John Street. It looks like Dave is interviewing a shopping cart and leading a lively discussion about the street conditions allegedly (according to local anecdotal lore) left behind by the previous night’s college student drunks from a nearby Irish pub.
I could make a Siskel & Ebert joke as well, but that might be a little insouciant for all but the Letterman Loyalists.
Alright I’ll go ahead with it anyway. The two chairs in the image to Dave’s right… He once said after a Siskel & Ebert spot that the only reason there were two chairs next to his desks on the Late Night and Late Show was to accommodate for when Siskel & Ebert stopped by. If you got the joke, you got the joke.
